Minecraft-inspired games are quite popular on Roblox. SkyWars is one of the games that gained a lot of popularity in this category. Developed by Voxels Studios, the game is inspired by the Minecraft SkyWars game mode. Recently, the developers released a brand-new season (Season 3), which explains the spike in active players. At the time of writing, the game has over 2.5K active players.
For those unaware of the game, it is a fighting game where players spawn on floating islands, loot chests for weapons, armor, and resources, and build bridges to other islands to engage in PvP combat. Let’s see how to play SkyWars Season 3.
How To Play SkyWars Season 3
After joining the game, you will spawn on a small floating island. Here, you have to explore and open chests containing weapons, armor, blocks, and potions. Remember, this island will also host other players looking to do the same. You have to eliminate these other players by knocking them off islands or reducing their health to zero. Whoever remains the last person standing wins the round.
Gameplay Mechanics
- Looting: Open chests on your starting island to gather gear (swords, bows, armor, etc.) and building blocks.
- Building: Use blocks to create bridges to other islands for resources or to engage enemies. Be quick, as others will do the same.
- Combat: Fight opponents using melee weapons, ranged attacks (like bows), or knock them off edges. Potions (e.g., speed or health) give tactical advantages.
- Survival: Avoid falling into the void, as it results in the instant death of your character. Stay aware of your surroundings and enemy movements.
Tips for Success
- Prioritize Loot: When you start the game, your first priority should be to farm loot. Once you are equipped with good armor and weapons, you can then engage in combat.
- Build Strategically: Create quick, stable bridges to reach mid-island chests or flank enemies.
- Master Combat: One of the main weapons is melee attacks. You can also practice aiming with bows.
- Stay Mobile: Keep moving to avoid being an easy target for arrows or ambushes.
