Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon throws you into Avalon six centuries after the glorious reign of King Arthur. The land is now only a shell of its former glorious self and is plagued by both the Red Death and Wyrdness. Threats lurk around every corner, and the Mistbearer might just be the most formidable of them all. 

The Mistbearer is a secret boss in the Ancient Cave, directly northwest of the All-Mother’s Temple. You find this boss at the very end of the cave. As you approach the end, mist covers your surroundings, and the boss makes its terrifying presence known. The boss uses a ton of mist-based attacks and summons to throw you off. To make matters worse, the boss hits hard, especially if you’re playing on the regular difficulty or above.

How To Beat the Mistbearer in Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon

Right after the Mistbearer’s glorious introductory cutscene, he will summon to Mistlings. Ignore them and rush past to get two quick hits on the Mistbearer. We recommend using charged attacks for this. 

After this, the boss will fade away, and you’ll have to deal with the Mistlings. If you’re using a shield, these minions are easy to deal with. If not, you’ll have to rely on a ton of dodging. The Mistbearers are difficult to hit when transparent, so wait for them to become opaque to attack. 

Once you deal with the Mistlings, mist will spawn all around you. Survey the area and keep your eyes peeled for all the mist clouds because the boss will spawn in any one of them. Make sure to never let a mist cloud be behind you, as you run the risk of the boss spawning at the back. The moment he spawns, you’ll have a chance to land one hit. Do so quickly, and the boss will disappear, spawning Mistlings once again. Repeat this loop to kill the Mistbearer.
