What’s New in This Dead Rails Update?
A New Class: The game introduces a new class featuring a unique mechanic. This class wields a main ability to attach items using a hook-like device in their hands. We’ve shared an image showcasing this new class. The class’s exact price remains unconfirmed, but some community members have said it would cost around 90 Bonds.
This new class comes with a grappling hook. With this device, you can grab items. It’s unclear if you will be able to pull yourself to the objects with the help of the hook. Here’s what the new class looks like:
New POI and Mini Boss: The developers have confirmed that, in addition to the new class, the game will introduce a new Point of Interest (POI) and a new miniboss in the upcoming update. New Challenges: The developers have confirmed that the third upcoming Dead Rails update will introduce three new challenges to the game, adding fresh objectives for players to tackle. Here are the details of the new challenges:
- Honorable Warrior: Complete an entire run (reaching the 80km fort and lowering the bridge) without any player using weapons.
- Weldmaster: Weld over 40 items onto the train at once. This challenge requires players to fortify their train extensively, using items like junk, sheet metal, or corpses.
- Thief: Rob every bank in a single game run. Players must locate and raid all bank vaults across towns.
