Rematch through the beta phases has made one thing clear, and that is the fact that they are here to stay. With a grand slam of a response during their two beta phases, fans are more excited than ever for the launch date. Throughout the trial period, Sloclap took into consideration all the great feedback from the players and has shared some sauce on what we can expect during the launch.

In this article, we will be looking at all the gameplay balances to expect at launch.

Push Ball and Volley Push Ball

Push Ball

  1. Standardized push ball south dynamic with controlled version. Similar duration with a smoother exit speed.
  2. Volley Lob Push ball focuses on the target further ahead (From 0.3 to 0.4 seconds). This is to prevent spam while also keeping chainable actions.
  3. Correction made to volley aerial push ball. The player will now land behind the impact point before redirecting.
  4. Fix for ignoring ball status during the extra effort push ball.

Volleys

  1. Volley Duration will increase from 0.3 to 0.33 to allow for better control of tap and shoot power.
  2. Volley taps at high height are now 100% stronger.

Standardized Stamina Cost

  1. Stamina Cost for dash and dribble will be 0.75. Previously, Dash was 1 and Dribble was 0.25. Max stamina value is 10.
  2. Stamina cost for push ball will increase from 0.35 to 0.375.
  3. Fix for stamina depletion and regeneration cooldown. This will trigger in the ‘out of stamina’ state.

Input & Control Updates

Mouse & keyboard Mapping

  1. The Default Mapping will change as some actions were not bound.
  2. Modifier input will move from the middle mouse to improve overall keyboard input mapping.

Mapping Presets

  1. Two new mapping presets for mice with thumb buttons.
  2. The previous default mapping will leave. Full rebinds will be enabled in the future.

Gameplay Options & Communication System

  1. More gameplay options will arrive. Some will be fixed.
  2. An anti-spam system for in-game communications. After 5 quick communications, there will be a 15-second cooldown. Cooldown between 2 communications will reduce from 2 seconds to 0.8 seconds.
