New AMD Ryzen 9000G processors are reportedly coming soon! Check out details on this new desktop CPU lineup here.

AMD Ryzen processors have taken the PC hardware market by storm, being hugely popular amongst not just gamers but also content creators and pretty much everybody who needs a fast, reliable CPU. Let’s check out the new Ryzen 9000G processors that could be released soon!
AMD’s processors ending with the G suffix are quite different from the company’s normal processors. These are Accelerating Processing Units (APUs), rather than traditional processors. We will talk about what exactly is different about these APUs and explore the new Ryzen 9000G processors that may be released soon on the AM5 socket.
AMD Ryzen 9000G Processors May Launch Soon; Gigabyte Leak Reveals the Upcoming CPUs

While the AMD Ryzen 9000G processors did not launch at Computex 2025, there is still a good chance they will launch later this year. VideoCardz was informed by a user that a new CPU lineup was spotted on an AMD motherboard partner website! On Gigabyte’s website, users can navigate information about what components their motherboards are compatible with.

Recently, it was spotted that a new processor generation was listed under the memory support list for Gigabyte’s B650 motherboards, which feature the AM5 socket. The Ryzen 9000 G-Series processors were mentioned here in broad daylight, which points to the fact that AMD’s partners are already aware of these upcoming CPUs, so preparation is happening behind the curtains.
G-Series Processors Also Feature iGPUs
These “G” series processors feature a fast CPU, but alongside that, they also feature a powerful integrated GPU. Once paired with fast DDR5 memory, AMD’s APUs can rival older-generation dedicated graphics. A lot of budget gaming PC builds are designed around AMD’s APUs, such as the G-Series processors we’ve seen released earlier. An APU is designed to feature all-around performance, including powerful graphics processing capabilities, rather than just providing you with a fast CPU.
Typically, AMD processors do feature integrated graphics. However, these iGPUs are not very powerful and are only suitable for supporting display output. But G-Series processors pack enough punch to even facilitate gaming. Esports games in particular, which are known to be not very intensive, run great on AMD’s G-Series processors such as the Ryzen 5 8600G, even facilitating high frame rates above 100 with adjusted graphics settings.
Do note that it’s still early to say whether or not AMD Ryzen 9000G processors are launching, as neither the motherboard partners nor AMD themselves have confirmed that such a lineup exists. If Ryzen 9000G processors do launch, they’ll surely be a great pick for budget PC builds!
