The Roblox game Grow a Garden has surpassed Fortnite’s world record for the most concurrent players. And the community is naturally in a frenzy, with fans and content creators congratulating the developers for achieving such a feat. For context, the game on Roblox reached a peak of over 16 million active players on June 14, 2025. Previously, the Guinness World Record title for the ‘Most concurrently played videogame’ was held by Fortnite for 15.3 million players during the Galactus event on December 1, 2020.

As per the numbers provided by Romintor Stats, Grow a Garden seems to have smashed the world record by peaking at 16,411,769 players on Saturday, June 14. The date coincides with a new update called Working Bees that introduced the new crafting mechanic to the game. This is probably what attracted so many players to go online in the game at the same time. The previous peak was also recorded on a Saturday, coinciding with the release of the previous event.
