The Working Bees update added Pack Bee as a new pet to Grow a Garden. Released on June 14, the pet resembles a normal Bee pet with some added characteristics. It has a helmet and an empty crate hanging from it, which is quite befitting for its trait.
This article will guide you through the process of obtaining the pet in Grow a Garden and also explain its traits.
Pack Bee Pet: Guide
The only way to get your hands on the mythical pet in Grow a Garden is to craft it. For those unaware, crafting is a new mechanic added to the game with the Working Bees Update on June 14, 2025. Follow these steps:
- Launch Grow a Garden on Roblox.
- Walk up to the Crafting Station at the center of the map.
- Select Pack Bee.
- Submit the ingredients and wait for Bizzy Bear to craft the pet.
Without further ado, here is the crafting recipe for the pet.

This means there is no need to hatch eggs to get the pet, thus eliminating any chance factor. However, obtaining some of the ingredients, such as the Sunflower, can be a bit tricky.
Alternatively, players can pay 799 Robux to get the pet without using the crafting recipe. If you are running low on Anti Bee Eggs, remember you can always craft more at the same crafting station. You would need a Bee Egg and some Honey for that. As for the Sunflower and Purple Dahlia, you get the crop seeds by opening the Flower Seed Pack from the Queen Bee.
Trait: What Does the Pack Bee Do?
The new Grow a Garden pet is very utilitarian. If you have one equipped in your garden, you get some extra space in your inventory to store fruits, flowers, and tools. Here is a breakdown of its traits:
- Equipping the pet increases your inventory bag size by 25. This allows players more tools, crops, seeds, flowers, and fruits. The slot size also increases with the age of the pet, allowing more items to be stored in the bag. However, it does not affect the pet storage size.
This trait makes it quite a handy pet to have equipped in the later stages of the game.
