The Dead Rails Werewolf class brings some serious bite to your zombie-slaying runs. With buffs that scale based on the time of day, the Werewolf is a high-risk, high-reward class that rewards aggression when the sun goes down. This guide covers how to unlock the class, what makes it special, and if it’s worth spending your Bonds on.

The Werewolf class was added in the April 11 update and gives your character a glowing-eyed wolf head. It’s not just for looks, either. This class has serious power. The Werewolf is all about timing. At night, you turn into an absolute beast:

  • Double speed
  • Double health
  • Double damage

But during the day, you lose a bit of that edge. Your stats drop by around 10 percent, which makes daytime fights a little tougher than usual. It’s a trade-off.

You also don’t start with much; just a shovel. That’s your basic weapon, so you’ll need to find something better pretty quickly if you want to stay alive.

How To Unlock the Werewolf Class in Dead Rails Roblox

Getting the Werewolf class is pretty straightforward. Just do this:

  1. Go to the Tailor in the lobby.
  2. Scroll through the list until you find Werewolf.
  3. It’ll cost you 50 Bonds.

Bonds aren’t that hard to earn:

  • Finish a regular run: +10 Bonds
  • Finish a Nightmare run: +20 Bonds
  • Complete challenges during a run
  • Explore places like the Town of Sterling for free and Bonds lying around

With a few decent runs, you’ll have enough to buy it.

Is the Werewolf Class Worth It?

If you like night raids and risky fights, it’s a solid pick. When the sun goes down, the Werewolf is one of the strongest classes in the game. The bonus stats can carry you through tough fights, and that speed boost is great for getting out of danger fast. That said, it’s not a beginner-friendly class.

During the day, you’re slightly weaker than normal, and the shovel start doesn’t help much either. If you’re playing solo, the day penalty can hurt. But in a team run, especially if you have someone like a Medic or Musician backing you up, the Werewolf becomes way more effective.

The Werewolf is a classic high-risk, high-reward class. If you can play smart during the day and go wild at night, it can be one of the most fun classes in the game. It’s not for everyone, but for 50 Bonds, it’s definitely worth trying out.
