What Is the Packmaster Class in Dead Rails Roblox?
Packmaster is kind of like the animal-handling version of Necromancer. Instead of raising undead minions, you tame wild wolves, and they fight for you.
You start the run with three tamed wolves and a shovel. But it doesn’t stop there. Any wolf that attacks you while you’re playing as the Packmaster will instantly become your ally. That means with a little luck (and a lot of howling), you can build a huge wolf army.
The best part? Taming costs nothing. No health drain, no cooldowns—just find a wolf and survive the first second of the attack.
How To Unlock the Packmaster
Here’s how to get the Packmaster class:
- Go to the Tailor in the main lobby.
- Scroll to Packmaster and select it.
- Spend 35 Bonds to unlock.
You earn Bonds by:
- Completing runs (10–20, depending on difficulty)
- Finishing challenges during gameplay
- Exploring key structures like the Castle or Town of Sterling, which often have free Bonds lying around
Make sure to equip the class before heading into a new run.
Is Packmaster Class Worth It?
If you like letting your AI companions do the dirty work, Packmaster is a solid pick. Compared to the Necromancer, it feels a bit easier to manage; no health loss, no fancy mechanics. Just tame, stack up wolves, and let them do their thing.
The only real catch? Wolves can be hard to find on some maps. If you don’t run into many, your team stays small, and you’re left swinging your shovel a lot more. But when the wolf spawns go your way, this class is incredibly fun and surprisingly powerful, even in higher difficulties.
