Here’s how to become a Vampire in Rune Slayer without spending Robux. Follow this free-to-play method step-by-step.

With the June 2025 update of Rune Slayer came one of the most exciting race additions yet: the Vampire. While you can roll for it using Robux, there’s a free method that lets you become a creature of the night without paying anything. If you want red eyes, life-stealing powers, and extra damage after dark, here’s exactly how to unlock the Vampire race in Rune Slayer.
How To Become a Vampire in Rune Slayer

You don’t need Robux to become a Vampire; you just need to get your hands on a Vampire Blood Vial. You can drink this item to instantly transform into a Vampire, with no rerolls required.
There are two main ways to get the vial:
- Trade with another player (through the official Rune Slayer Discord)
- Farm it yourself from Vampire mobs
If you’d rather not risk scams or overpay in trades, here’s how to farm the vial yourself.
Where To Find the Vampire Blood Vial?
Steps to find the Vampire Blood Vial:
- Go to the Greatwood Swamp: Start from Ashenshire in the Greatwood Forest. Head straight from the rope entrance until you reach the swamp.
- Look for the cave: Once you’re in the swamp, head left. Continue walking until you reach a clearing, then keep going left until you find a cave built into the mountain wall. This cave has Silver Veins inside.
- Find and fight the Vampire mob: Inside the cave, or nearby, you might spot a Vampire mob. This is the enemy that can drop the Blood Vial.
Note: Some players claim Vampires can also spawn in the Witches Hut, but that hasn’t been confirmed.
Important Tips
Becoming a Vampire sounds cool, and it is, but it comes with some RNG and effort. Here’s what you should know before trying this route:
- The Vampire is a rare spawn. You may need to server hop or wait around the cave for one to appear.
- The drop rate is very low. Even when you do find a Vampire, it’s not guaranteed to drop the Blood Vial. You’ll probably need to farm multiple times.
- They’re tough enemies. Vampires move fast, hit hard, and can be a problem if you’re not ready. Bring a friend if possible.
What Happens After You Become a Vampire?

Once you drink the vial, your character’s eyes turn red, and you gain some unique Vampire passives:
- Increased damage during nighttime
- Life-steal on every hit (you heal as you deal damage)
- Weakness to Holy magic
Overall, it’s a fun and powerful race that shines in combat, especially at night. Just be careful around players or mobs that deal Holy damage — it hits hard.
Even with the RNG and the tough fight, farming for the Vampire Blood Vial is absolutely worth it if you want a strong race without spending Robux. Just be patient, gear up, and keep hunting until you get that drop.
