FBC Firebreak throws you into Remedy Entertainment’s iconic Oldest House years after the events of Control. The events of Control may have resolved the issue the bureau was facing, but several anomalies have now returned, and you have to deal with them.

The anomalies are plaguing several sectors of the Oldest House, rapidly consuming the bureau and its members. They are no joke, and even with the strongest tools, taking them on is no easy task. They pack a punch, and when paired with the environmental hazards of the Oldest House, they are more than capable of killing you. The only way to avoid death is to heal.

Healing is essential if you wish to survive in FBC Firebreak, and if you don’t know how to heal, this guide will help you.

Healing in FBC Firebreak is a little complicated. There are no medkits; instead, you need to shower. Yes, you read that correctly. Showering is how you heal in FBC Firebreak. Every time you load into a Job, the game shows you an ammunition booth and a shower. You can repair these showers and get them to function. Once they are fixed and working, you can stand under them to heal. The showers also cure status effects, so make sure to return here if afflicted with any.

You won’t always have a shower nearby during a mission. In such instances, the Humidifier is your best bet. The Humidifier is a portable shower of sorts that you can use to heal yourself and your teammates. This water gun is part of the Splash Kit.

When heading out for any Job, it is highly recommended to ensure that at least one player carries a Splash Kit. The player with the Splash Kit can play the role of support. They can equip and use the Humidifier to heal teammates when a shower isn’t nearby, bailing them out of a pinch in a difficult battle.
