Players will get to face off Mankar Camoran during the Paradise main quest in Oblivion Remastered. Here’s a complete walkthrough of it.

Oblivion Remastered, like many other fantasy epics, tells a simple story about the fight between good and evil. The game unravels this story slowly through its campaign, and it ends with the Paradise quest. As you progress further through the main questline in Oblivion Remastered, you will gather many allies and fight enemies along the way.
However, in the end, your final task will be to confront Mankar Camoran in Paradise during the quest of the same name. In this guide, we will provide a complete walkthrough of the Paradise quest in Oblivion Remastered.
How To Complete the Paradise Quest in Oblivion Remastered

To start the Paradise quest in Oblivion Remastered, you must first complete the Defense of Bruma and, by extension, the Great Gate quest. After that, you will be tasked with collecting the necessary items to open the portal. Once you have them, speak to Martin Septim and tell him you are ready to open the portal.
Remember that entering the portal is a one-way trip, and you won’t be able to return until the mission is complete. So make all the necessary preparations, such as repairing armor, bringing hammers, and stocking up on potions and sigil stones. After doing so and entering Paradise through the portal, you will find Mankar Camoran speaking to you. Now, just follow the path laid out by the quest.
Since the area is overrun with evil forces, you will encounter many enemies, including Elementals and Daedra. Defeat them and keep moving forward. After walking for a while, you will meet the Ascended Immortals. Don’t worry, they won’t attack you. You can speak to them to learn more about your surroundings. Then, continue walking until you come across a bridge.
Deal With Kathutet

After crossing the bridge, you will find a door in a mountain. Once you approach it, Kathutet, a Dremora, will begin speaking to you. He will tell you that if you want to go past him, you must either defeat him in battle or complete a task for him. Either way, you will receive the Band of the Chosen as a reward, and the Forbidden Grotto will be unlocked.
If you choose the quest option, Kathutet will ask you to go to a cave northwest of that location and free a Xivilai from the hands of an Ascended Immortal. You can do this by interacting with the boulder and two wooden beams once you arrive. He will give you the Band of the Chosen after you complete the task. Alternatively, you can kill him and loot it from his corpse. He can cast Destruction and Mysticism spells, so be cautious.
Enter the Forbidden Grotto

The Band of the Chosen is required to access the Forbidden Grotto. Once you have it, equipping it will give you a 50% weakness to fire debuff. Inside the Grotto, you will encounter more Daedra, Dremora, Elementals, and their prisoners. As you move through the area and battle enemies, keep an eye out for a friendly Mythic Dawn member named Eldamil. You will need his help to remove the Band of the Chosen. Follow his instructions, get inside the cage, and pretend to be a prisoner.
The cage will then move closer to the burning lava. However, don’t worry—it will stop just before touching the lava, and you will slowly rise to the other side. After that, Eldamil will hold off the Dremora while you proceed. He is immortal in Paradise, so he will return even if he dies.
Now, enter through the door on the other side to meet Eldamil again. There, he will help you remove the Band of the Chosen. Afterward, you will be able to take him with you to the fight against Mankar Camoran. Then, go deeper into the dungeon until you find a door at the end, beyond which lies Paradise.
Confront Mankar Camoran

After entering the new area, continue forward until you find another Mythic Dawn member near a circular space. Speak to them and follow them to Mankar Camoran. During your confrontation, Mankar will deliver a speech. Then, you will have to fight him along with two other Mythic Dawn mages. Keep in mind that Mankar Camoran will be a tough opponent. He can perform the following actions:
- Mankar Camoran can summon multiple Daedra, who will assist him alongside Ruma and Raven.
- He can cast multiple major destruction spells.
- Restoration spells.
- Disintegration spells.
- Silence spells.
In addition to being a skilled fighter, Mankar Camoran also has many buffs, listed below:
- 25% Weakness to Fire, Frost, and Shock.
- 75% Resist Disease.
- 50% Resist Frost, Shock, Magick.
- 25% Reflect Spell and Damage.
- 25% Spell Absorption and Shield.
- An additional 10-20% Spell Absorption from his armor.
- An additional 7-10% Reflect Damage from his armor.
Since Mankar has a weakness to fire, we highly recommend that you exploit it as much as possible. Doing so will level the playing field and make the fight easier for you.
Return the Amulet of Kings to Martin Septim

After you defeat Mankar Camoran, you will be able to collect the Amulet of Kings and Mankar Camoran’s staff from his corpse. The staff deals shock damage and can disintegrate armor. In addition, if you want enchantments that reflect damage and grant Spell Absorption, you can take his robe. Once you take the Amulet of Kings, the entire realm of Paradise will start to crumble.
However, there is nothing to worry about—you will be teleported back to Cloud Ruler Temple. There, you will find Martin Septim, now wearing the Emperor’s attire. Finally, hand the Amulet over to your new emperor to finish the quest.
