Ideal Starting Hand
You want to play multiple copies of Iron Valiant ex so that you can switch between them and get additional chip damage thanks to its ability, Tachyon Bits. Having an Iron Crown ex on the Bench is also useful. Also, while not useful as an attacker, Baby Miraidon is useful early on to attach extra Energy to any Benched Future Pokemon.
Best Future Box Deck in Pokemon TCG: Key Cards
Here’s the strategy for this deck:
- Iron Valiant ex will switch in deal chip damage with its ability and attack with its move Laser Blade. However, as it cannot attack for consecutive turns, you will need to use Switch or Surfer to swap it out for another copy on your Bench or with Iron Leaves ex to repeat the process.
- Also you can attach a Future Booster Energy Capsule for a damage boost and removing any Retreat Cost. This lowers the reliance on Switch or Surfer.
- Iron Crown ex should stay on the Bench for another damage boost to all Future Pokemon.

Best Matchups
This deck’s aggressive playstyle often leaves Joltik Box scrambling for answers early on, as Joltik is easily KO’d by even Miraidon and the other Future Pokemon have the damage output to KO the other threats on that deck.
