Date Everything offers a free demo, letting players meet quirky characters and explore romance options before purchasing the full game.
Date Everything is a delightfully unconventional dating simulator that turns the ordinary into the extraordinary. Set in a house filled with everyday objects brought to life, the game invites players to meet and romance over 100 unique characters.
You can play Date Everything for free by downloading its demo from Steam or the respective store on your console. The demo gives you a fair idea of how the game will play out and whether you might be interested in purchasing the complete product. However, it has several restrictions and limitations that prevent you from meeting the majority of characters and accessing certain locations.
How Much Content Does the Date Everything Demo Have?
The Date Everything demo is a free trial of the game with limited access to characters and areas around the house. Once you start the demo, you will have two in-game days to meet and interact with the game’s characters. To talk to a character once, you must use one charge of your Dateviators, glasses that turn objects into Dateables. You receive five charges each day, which are refreshed the following day.
Therefore, you have a total of ten charges to use in the demo, meaning you can have a maximum of ten character interactions once the first day begins. However, the tutorial day is different and has its own set of characters for you to meet. Phoenicia, Dorian, Maggie, Skylar, and Betty help you understand the game during the tutorial, after which the first day begins.
After two days are up, a thank-you screen will be displayed, stating that the demo is over and encouraging you to buy the full game. During this time, you can only meet a maximum of 10 dateables out of the 100 present in the full game.
Date Everything Demo Restrictions
There are several limitations imposed on the demo’s progression in Date Everything.
- You cannot access the Attic.
- Some dateables are not available in the demo.
- There are no achievements in the demo.
- You cannot date for more than two days.
- Two additional and unique endings unlock after leaving the house.
- Demo save data does not carry over to the full game.
This reduction of content is also reflected in the demo’s difference in storage space when compared to the full game. While the complete game requires 8 GB of space to install, the demo only needs 4.74 GB.
