Wild Horse Islands Roblox Donkeys and Mules guide: catch donkeys, breed hybrids, and unlock special coats easily.
Wild Horse Islands Roblox just dropped its biggest update with donkeys and mules joining the game. You can now catch cute donkeys running around the islands, and if you’re into breeding, there are some cool new hybrid animals to work towards.
This update isn’t just about adding new animals, it changes how breeding works and gives you more variety in your collection. The donkeys are adorable and come in tons of different colors, while the mules and hennies you can breed are something new for the game.
Catching Donkeys Around the Islands
Standard donkeys are pretty easy to find when you’re exploring. They are available in gray dun, black, brown dun, dark brown dun spotted, white, light gray dun spotted, black spotted, and light sorrel dun colors. There’s also a special coat that only appears on Lunar Islands, so keep an eye out when visiting there.
Mammoth donkeys are way bigger but much harder to find. These guys are rarer, but they’re worth the hunt. You’ll find them in black, brown, black with no light points, dark brown masked, blue roan, and red roan. Royal Island has a special mammoth donkey coat not available anywhere else.
How to Breed Mules and Hennies
You can’t catch mules and hennies in the wild. You have to breed them yourself at the breeding locations. Hennies come from breeding a female donkey with a male horse, while mules need a female horse and a male donkey.
Remember that breeding these hybrids costs 2.5 times more tokens than regular horses. Also, once you get a mule or henny, you can’t breed them again since they’re the end of the line for that bloodline.
Going for the Special Coats
Unique coats are awesome to have. Each one has specific requirements, e.g., dapple buckskin needs parents with buckskin and dapple coats. Some coats like Bay Dun and Red Dun have a 1 in 10 chance of getting special fade hair colors, which is pretty cool.
If you manage to collect every single unique mule coat, you’ll unlock the Galaxy mule. That’s the big prize everyone’s going for. Plus, the update made the island’s unique hair colors easier to find: they now show up 1 in 1,000 times instead of 1 in 2,500. There are also three new hair dyes at Sweetie’s shop: sorrel fade, bay dun fade, and red dun fade.
