You can either obtain weapons and armor by buying, finding, or forging them in Deltarune. One of these items you can craft to obtain as early as Chapter Two is the Tension Bow. This item is strong due to its secondary effect. However, you will need to find two other items to craft this armor piece.

First, you will need two other items. These are the B.Shot Bowtie and a Tension Bit. You can buy the first of these from Swatch. Meanwhile, the Tension Bit is a consumable item. You can find it inside a chest in the Cyber Field area. You use this item to restore your TP by 32%. Once you have both items, approach Malius.

They can be found in the Bakery of Castle Town during Chapter Two of the game. Malius will be able to craft the Tension Bow for you.

What Does the Tension Bow Do in Deltarune?

Grazing attacks gives you increased TP (Image via Toby Fox | @RoboVenom55/YouTube)

This is a particularly strong piece of armor, especially at this point in the game. This is not due to its defense stat, since it adds a +2 to your defense. However, its secondary effect makes this item worth crafting. Your TP gain is increased by 10% every time you graze an enemy bullet. In this way, it combines the defence of the B.Shot Bowtie and the TP gain of the Tension Bit. Alternatively, if you do not see any use for this item, you can also consider selling this item for 200 D$.

(Note: The equipped character must be attacked for the TP gain to take place. This effect works similarly to the Silver Watch, which reduces turn length from grazing instead of restoring TP).

That was everything to know about the Tension Bow in Deltarune. Which other item do you want to get in Deltarune?
