Learn how to get the Reclaimer in Grow a Garden and use it to turn your plants back into seeds. Save rare crops without deleting them.
The Reclaimer is a handy new tool added in Grow a Garden’s Summer Update. It lets you turn a grown plant back into a seed, making it much easier to manage your garden and free up space, without losing your rarest crops.
If you’ve regretted deleting a valuable plant to make room, the Reclaimer is your solution.
What Does the Reclaimer Do?
The Reclaimer works like a one-time-use clipper. Use it on any plant (except rainbow or golden varieties), and it converts that plant into a seed and stores it in your inventory.
Here’s what to keep in mind:
- One Reclaimer = One Use
- Doesn’t work on rainbow or golden plants
- Instantly frees up space while saving the crop
This tool is a must-have if you’re trying to rotate through rare or seasonal plants.
How To Get the Reclaimer in Grow a Garden Roblox
You have two main ways to get a Reclaimer: crafting or earning one through the Summer Harvest Event.
1. Crafting (Most Reliable)
You can craft the Reclaimer at the Gear Crafting Station using:

Once you’ve collected the materials:
- Head to the crafting area
- Select the Reclaimer recipe

- Come back later to claim your tool
2. Summer Harvest Event (Free Method)
The Summer Harvest Event happens once every hour in the lobby. Here’s how it works:
- Bring any summer fruit and submit it during the event
- Wait for it to end and claim your rewards
- You have a 50% chance to receive a Reclaimer as one of the rewards
This method doesn’t cost anything, but it’s based on RNG, so you may have to try more than once.
Is the Reclaimer Worth It?
Yes. If you’re serious about managing your garden, the Reclaimer is worth getting. Being able to store your rare plants as seeds gives you way more flexibility with layout and crop rotation.
No more stress about deleting your Prismatic or event-limited plants. Just reclaim them and plant them again later when you’re ready.
