The long-awaited Sonic Speed Simulator’s Sonic Birthday Event has returned for Sonic the Hedgehog’s 34th birthday with new rewards.
Sonic the Hedgehog is now 34 years old, and the popular Roblox game Sonic Speed Simulator is celebrating the iconic video game character’s birthday in-game. Players can unlock the new legendary reskin of Birthday Classic Sonic as a reward. Other unlockable items include a rail grind, fall animations, and task progress bonuses. What’s New in Sonic’s Birthday Event in Sonic Speed Simulator?
There are new tasks for everyone to complete in Emerald Hill, Green Hill, City Escape, and Metro City Zone. Players can head to any of the four locations and complete event tasks until the end of the event. The game has an active task progression boost for several event tasks. You can hover over the task icons to see which ones have bonus progression boosts. Here is a quick rundown of the event tasks:
Bash Presents and Pop Balloons
You have to collect presents by destroying Eggman’s crates and balloons. These presents are located in Green Hill, Emerald Hill, and City Escape. Every gift you obtain earns you a +25 score in your Gifts tab.
The fastest way to complete the event is to use Spin Dash and Homing Attacks. These moves allow you to navigate the map and pop balloons efficiently. You can also enable auto-run to make the grind faster.
Fireworks Obby
The Fireworks Obby is available in the Emerald Hill Zone. It is located next to the Ring Portal for the Tornado Minigame. You have to chain Homing Attacks on the floating fireworks to progress. Once you get enough points, you will receive event progression points for the birthday skins.
Time Trials
You can complete time trials to earn progress toward event rewards. The fastest trial is at the Diamond Terminal. You can complete it in 30 seconds or less. Most of the trial is automated, so you don’t have to worry about manual controls.
All Sonic’s Birthday Event Rewards
The highlight of the event is the Birthday Classic Sonic skin. It features a special velvet cape and golden crown. Other rewards include Birthday Chao and Gift Chao from previous events. You also get more inventory slots and ring customizations.
The shop also has some special discounts on cosmetics. Robux has regional pricing, so prices will vary across regions. Refer to the in-game shop to see the event shop for your country.
