Beat your way through the impenetrable three-man defense and unlock the gold medal for the Toro Workshop in Rematch.
Rematch is a newly imagined way to play soccer with new rules and game mechanics. With this comes a learning curve that you will need to adapt to. Rematch offers a practice mode where you learn the necessary skills and put some of these to the test in the workshop. One of the workshops, Toro, proves harder to complete than the rest.
In this article, we will be looking at an easier way to complete the Toro workshop in Rematch.
The Toro Workshop in Rematch
One of the achievements in the game requires you to unlock five gold medals in the workshops. Fortunately, there are seven workshops of which five are easy to accomplish. But completing the Toro workshop is a satisfying feat on its own. This challenge requires you to be surrounded by three Ai players in a triangle formation. Your task is to intercept their passing by dashing against the ball.
What makes the challenge difficult is the fact that the passes are completely random. By the time you identify which player the ball will roll towards next, it will be too late to intercept. Running after the ball doesn’t help as it wastes valuable time. You will have 30 seconds to complete the challenge by tackling a certain number of balls. The different medals are divided into three categories.

How To Unlock a Gold Medal in Toro Workshop
There is a simple hack to complete this workshop without running around. While this may take a few tries, considering the random passes, it will save you much time.
- Firstly, start the Toro Workshop in practice mode.
- Once in, rush towards the player right before you and block his path.
- Now, enter the ‘defense stance’ by holding the ‘L2’ or ‘LB’ button on your respective platform.
- Wait for the ball to reach the player and tap ‘Circle’ or ‘B’ to intercept the pass. This will count as one point.
- If the player you block spawns the ball at their feet, you will automatically intercept the pass due to your ‘defense stance’, and it counts as another point.
One thing to note is that this method is completely luck-based and relies on the Ai choosing the player you select.
