Umamusume: Pretty Derby is a racing simulator about training horse girls based on the anime of the same name. The free-to-play gacha game features support cards to collect in addition to the horse girls themselves. The support cards are highly valuable to a player’s account, especially early on, as they assist in training the Uma Musume. Therefore, it is advantageous to start with the right deck of support cards on a new account.
Players can reroll their starting cards by deleting user data and reloading the game. However, the cards you get are randomly determined by the game’s gacha system. Consequently, it can be difficult to determine which ones to look for. We have created a tier list of SR and SSR support cards worth rerolling for.

While these are generally well-rounded and meta-picks, players can determine the best card composition for their account based on the horse girl they want to train and the events they are targeting. Even among the S-rank cards, Fine Motion and Super Creek are in a league of their own, and pulling one of them on a reroll makes for an ideal starting deck.

As you begin employing support cards in Career Mode, focus on reaching friendship tier four with them by training their respective stat repeatedly and observing the bar on the top right corner of the screen.
At tier four, the bar will turn orange, unlocking their unique bonuses and triggering events. After your support cards have reached said friendship tier, focus on min-maxing the horse girl by spending all the remaining training energy on one or two stats suitable to her style.
