Learn how to earn Summer Coins in Grow a Garden and unlock limited-time pets, seeds, and items from the Summer Shop before they’re gone.
Summer Coins are a limited-time event currency available only during the Summer Harvest event. Unlike regular Sheckles, you can’t get them by selling crops or using Robux but by collecting and turning in special summer fruits during event windows.
These coins are your ticket to the Summer Shop, which offers exclusive pets, Divine-tier seeds, and gear. But once the event ends, any unused Summer Coins disappear. If you’re planning to stock up on rare items, it’s important to farm efficiently.
How Summer Harvest Works
The Summer Harvest event starts automatically every hour when you’re in-game. It’s open to everyone and works the same way each time:
- Fruits spawn across the map as soon as the event starts.
- Your goal is to harvest as many of these fruits as possible.
- Bring them to the central wagon in the middle of the map.
- When the event ends, you’re awarded Summer Coins based on your contribution.
You don’t need to talk to an NPC, walk up to the wagon and your collected fruits will be turned in automatically.
Reward Tiers – How Many Coins You Get
Your final coin reward depends on how many fruits you collect and turn in during the event. Each reward tier offers more coins:

Aim to hit Mythical or above if you want to collect coins fast. The more you play and learn where fruits spawn, the easier this becomes.
Mega Summer Harvest Event
On June 28, 2025, a special version of the event “Mega Summer Harvest,” was introduced. It functions the same way as the regular version but gives you double reward points for every fruit.
If you usually earn three coins, you’ll get six instead during the Mega event.
Keep in mind that the Mega Summer Harvest doesn’t occur every hour. Watch the in-game announcements and the Grow a Garden Discord for alerts when it’s active.
Where To Spend Summer Coins in Grow a Garden Roblox
Once you’ve earned a good stack of Summer Coins, head over to the Summer Shop (accessible by talking to Georgia next to the Summer wagon).
Here’s what you can buy:
- Traveler’s Fruit Seed – 32 Coins
- Oasis Egg (Pet) – 10 Coins
- Hamster Pet – 15 Coins
- Aloe Vera / Peace Lily / Guanabana Seeds – Varies
- Misc gear and event items
Some of these, like the Traveler’s Fruit, are top-tier investments for long-term profit. Others, like the Hamster, give utility perks like crafting boosts.
The Summer Harvest event is your best chance to collect powerful seeds, rare pets, and useful tools in Grow a Garden. Whether farming to improve your garden layout or aiming for a high-tier pet, Summer Coins are the key.
