Shrimp Game features a host of fun minigames inspired by the actual Netflix series. Your goal is to survive a series of minigames to be the last player standing and win in-game cash (Won) and XP. Here is the list of minigames in the game:
- Red Light, Green Light: Move toward the finish line when “green light” is called, and stop when “red light” is called.
- Sugar Honeycombs: Carve a shape (e.g., circle, triangle) from a fragile cookie without breaking it.
- Tug of War: Work with a team to pull a rope against another team while on suspended platforms.
- Lights Out: Survive a chaotic brawl during a dark intermission until the timer ends.
- Six-Legged Pentathlon: Players are grouped and must work together to complete a series of challenges.
- Mingle: Luck-based minigame where players must quickly form groups of a specific size within a short time limit.
- Squid Game (Shrimp Game): Be the last player standing in a fistfight arena.
Can You Play as a Guard?
Yes, you can play as a Guard in the Shrimp Game. The guards wear pink-colored suits and carry a weapon (MP5 submachine gun). This role allows you to oversee minigames and eliminate players who fail to complete the challenges. To play as a Guard, you need to purchase a Guard Pass in the game’s lobby.
When Is the New Update Coming?
With the release of Squid Game Season 3, the developers have announced a Season 3 update for the game, set to launch later today, July 2, 2025. The event will run until July 4, 2025. Additionally, a Game 1 update will be released on July 6, 2025, introducing new minigame(s) inspired by the Squid Game series.
