Help Dirk Deveraux and Harper confront their toxic romance in Date Everything. Discover both endings of love and separation.
Date Everything is a dating simulator in which you can romance household objects ranging from a rubber duck to the very floor you walk on. In a few instances, these personifications of inanimate entities have also formed relationships with each other—interacting, dating, and squabbling. While most of these relationships aren’t working out, none are as dysfunctional as Dirk Deveraux and Harper.
Dirk Deveraux represents dirty laundry, and Harper is the laundry hamper he’s stuck inside. Although both characters are found at the same location, they have separate entries on the Date-a-Dex. The two have an intriguing relationship dynamic, and your actions can help them work on their issues or break their cycle of toxicity.
Date Everything: Where To Find Dirk Deveraux and Harper
Meet Dirk Deveraux and Harper by using the Dateviators on the basket in the corner of the laundry room. Find the laundry room by opening the door located in the kitchen. Once you scan the hamper, you will meet both characters at once. To find Clarence, scan the clothes in the wardrobe.

Date Everything: All Dirk Deveraux and Harper Endings
By speaking with Dirk Deveraux and Harper over the first few days, you gain an understanding of their relationship and backstories. Harper lost her first boyfriend, Chappy the chapstick, when he accidentally got washed with the laundry. She then got together with Dirk but grew controlling, hardly ever giving him space. To make matters worse, she compares him to Chappy even though she barely knew the chapstick for a few weeks.
When Dirk is washed, he turns into the flamboyant Clarence and moves to the wardrobe. During this time, he relishes his peace of mind away from Harper and ignores all her attempts to meet him. However, this leaves Harper enraged and suspicious, and she accuses him of cheating on her. Despite their constant bickering, the two seem to love each other and find brief respite in their reunions. On day 5 of speaking with Dirk and Harper, you can choose to break them up or encourage them to work things out.

Breaking Up Dirk Deveraux and Harper
Advise Deveraux and Harper to end their relationship by saying, “You two are toxic. Make a clean break.” This will lead to both characters separating and becoming individually romanceable. Dirk moves to the wardrobe and transforms into Clarence. Harper stays in the laundry room. You can speak with both of them to pursue all three endings on the following day.
Keeping Dirk Deveraux and Harper Together
To help Dirk and Harper stay together, say, “It would be a shame to throw away such a beautiful relationship.” They end up with new hope to work through their issues. You can then get a romance ending with both of them simultaneously by forming a throuple.
