The ‘To Walk Where Spirits Tread’ quest in Diablo 4 Season 9 sees you and Bryona performing rites to dispel Nafain.
Diablo 4 Season 9 is out and brings with it a ton of content. There’s a whole new questline to explore in the Sins of the Horadrim, and To Walk Where Spirits Tread is a part of this questline. This quest sees you and Bryona investigating a demon outbreak. The To Walk Where Spirits Tread quest is dangerous and follows up on the events of the Keepers of the Glenn quest.

How To Complete To Walk Where Spirits Tread in Diablo 4 Season 9
You begin To Walk Where Spirits Tread by talking to Bryona, who then informs you that the cursed blood of Nafain still plagues the lands. In order to deal with this problem, you need to head to the Rite of Sacrifice at the Shrine of Sacrifice. This special shrine is located to the east of Cerrigar. If you can’t find it, track the quest in your journal. This will mark the location for you, making the whole task easier.
Make your way to the shrine and go to the altar in the middle. You’ll then get a prompt to interact with the shrine and perform the Rite of Sacrifice. Press the button shown at the top of your screen to proceed. Once you do so, a wolf spirit will spawn before you and immediately take off. You need to follow this spirit to a Shrine of Resolve. You’ll have to fight a ton of demons along the way, so make sure you’re ready for battle.

Once you’re at the Shrine of Resolve, make your way to the altar. You’ll once again be shown a prompt to interact and perform the Rite of Resolve. Perform the ritual and continue following the wolf, slaying demons along the way. The wolf will then lead you to the Shrine of Reflection. Follow the same steps you did before and complete the Rite of Reflection.
Once all the rituals are complete, the wolf will lead you to the Tur Dulra Stronghold, which you then need to clear to reach the Oaken Cavern. Inspect the statues in this cavern, which will spawn the Binding Annihilator. Defeat this mob, and you can then return to Cerrigar and talk to Bryona to complete the quest.
