Grass Wonder is a middle-of-the-road horse girl when it comes to her feasible racing style and event distance. She can comfortably run mile, medium, and even long-distance races with the Pace Chaser and the Late Surger styles. Since Pace Chasers have a better success rate and are easier to train, this build guide will focus on preparing Grass Wonder to stay ahead of the pack.

Grass Wonder gains 20% additional speed and 10% additional power while training those stats. Her special skill, Focused Mind, gives her a speed boost if she overtakes an opponent on the final straight. These abilities make Grass Wonder an excellent choice as a Pace Chaser for mile and medium events.

Before training any particular stat, ensure that you level up your friendship bonds during the first year to activate friendship training. Once this is done, the support cards’ bars will turn orange, and they will provide training bonuses for their respective stats.

Primary Stats

Once you begin optimizing Grass Wonder’s build, focus on training Speed and Power. Not only are both of these stats crucial for her running style as a Pace Chaser, but she has a training boost for them too. Increasing speed allows her to tail the front-runners early on, and high power is needed to overtake them in the final stretch. Aim to train Speed to 900+ and Power to 500+ for optimal performance.

Secondary Stats

Following closely behind Power, the Stamina stat is essential for Grass Wonder to maintain her top speed and fuel her acceleration. Train Stamina to 450+ for medium-distance races and 600+ for long-distance races. Training Stamina to this relatively low value is only feasible if you have stamina-replenishing skills like Super Creek’s Swinging Maestro to shore up the weakness.

If not, then compromise on Speed and Power to increase Stamina to 600+ for medium and 800+ for long distance. Train Wit to 400+ and feel free to deprioritize Guts.

Skills

Selecting blue skills to get stamina recovery will allow you to focus on training speed and power. This, in conjunction with positioning skills, will prevent Grass Wonder from getting stuck in the pack both early and in the final stretch. Therefore, the best skills for her are those that:

  • Provide stamina recovery
  • Improve positioning
