With Title Update 1, Capcom introduced a wide range of changes in Monster Hunter Wilds. One of them allows players to take on challenging hunts as quests through the Arena. These hunts have specific conditions that Hunters will need to meet. Also, at the end of every successful hunt, exclusive rewards await. The thrill of the hunt and the promise of shiny new trinkets might entice you to try out the Arena quest counter. Right now, the active Challenge Quest is called Fleeting Bubbles, and it involves hunting down Mizutsune. However, you need to be prepared for the encounter ahead. In the following guide, we’ll explore how you can start and complete the Fleeting Bubbles Arena Quest in Monster Hunter Wilds, where you’ll take on Mizutsune.

To get the quest, you will need to head to the Grand Hub area, which opens up once you reach Chapter 4 of the game’s campaign and get to Hunter Rank 16. At the Grand Hub, find an NPC named Ricardo at the Arena Quest Counter. Speaking with him will allow you to access the available Arena Quests. Once the Arena Quest Counter menu opens, choose the Fleeting Bubbles Arena Quest. This particular quest and its rewards are available in the game for a limited period only. So, you can attempt and clear it any time between 8 p.m. ET on July 8, 2025, and 7:59 p.m. ET on July 22, 2025.

When you pick this quest, you will have to choose from three predetermined builds, which include the equipment and gear you can use for the hunt. The options are:

  • Dual Blades and Gunlance
  • Sword & Shield and Charge Blade
  • Hammer and Heavy Bowgun

While it’s important to take into account which of the weapons you are most comfortable with, also consider the attack speed. After all, the quest is timed, and you’ll need to finish the hunt within a certain period. We recommend going with the Charge Blade or the Dual Blades build for maximum attack speed. You might find it difficult to master the Charge Blade if you haven’t used it before. Dual Blades are much simpler to use and master, which will help you adapt to them quicker.

Rewards for Completing the Fleeting Bubbles Arena Quest

The rewards you get for the quest completion will depend on how quickly you manage to defeat Mizutsune. The following are the rewards you’ll get for the different ranks you achieve:

  • A Rank: You will need to defeat the monster in less than 4 minutes and 30 seconds. If you manage to do it, you’ll get the Mizutsune: Mark of Mastery pendant.
  • B Rank: If you manage to take down the monster in less than 8 minutes, you’ll earn the Mizutsune: Mark of Bravery pendant.
  • C Rank: If you complete the quest within 50 minutes, you will receive the Mizutsune: Mark of Contest pendant.

Keep in mind that you won’t get the rewards immediately. Instead, you will need to wait for a couple of weeks after the event has ended to access the pendants you’ve earned.
