Setting up Pass Protection in College Football 26 is fairly simple. Press and hold the L1 or LB button to open up the Pass Protection menu. Here, you will find a variety of defensive options, which are given below:
- Sliding options: You can flick the RS sideways to half slide. Flick LS sideways to full slide. Slides are the best method to block overload blitzes.
- Blocking interior blitzes: To block interior blitzes, you have to flick the RS up for empty protection.
- Blocking all-out blitzes: Deploy max protection for all-out blitzes by flicking LS up.
- Double team: To double-team a rusher, select flick RS down. Then, move LS towards the rusher and press A (on Xbox) or X (on PlayStation) to select. You can deselect your target by pressing Triangle (on PlayStation) or Y (on Xbox).
- ID the Mike: You can ID the Mike by pressing X (on PlayStation) or A (on Xbox).
