Gear up to play with your friends across various platforms with an upcoming update in the near future in Rematch.

Rematch, being an online-focused game, heavily pushes players to play with friends and strangers. With the growing popularity of the game, new players are pouring in regularly. Now, while the game is available on all the platforms, the options to play with your friends across each is unavailable. So the question arises, when will this function finally be released? Sloclap finally addresses this issue as well as puts up a tentative date.
In this article, we will look at when we can finally expect Sloclap to add the crossplay feature in Rematch.
Rematch To Support Crossplay by September

Crossplay is a way of playing games across various platforms. This allows one not to be confined to a specific platform within a group of friends. With the competitive nature of Rematch, pairing up with strangers is not always the easiest, especially when it comes to playing ranking matches. When you play with friends, communication is stronger and toxicity is at a minimum.
With the release of the much-awaited dev update by Sloclap, multiple topics have been brought to light. One of the most talked-about additions to the game, i.e., crossplay, has not only been spoken about but may actually have an official release time frame. Sloclap stars of the post mentioned that crossplay, along with player reporting, would be available in six to nine weeks, while new ranked queues would take some months.
To be more specific, they confirmed that we can expect crossplay to be available in September, along with Season 1, or even possibly before that. At the moment, they are occupied with implementing other components of the crossplay feature. With the backend already functional, a few more tweaks would enable them to roll out their first versions by late August.
