Umamusume Pretty Derby is a management simulation game wherein we have the task of making stars out of horse girls. There are various game modes in the game, which keep us engaged, be it career mode, trial races, or even a nice, mellow concert. One such game mode is the main story, which follows the story of an Uma as she joins the academy and ascends herself to the top.
In this article, we will look at what you can expect in Umamusume Pretty Derby, the main story, Chapter 1.
Chapter 1 in Umamusume Pretty Derby
Chapter 1 in Umamusume Pretty Derby is ‘Set Off for the Brightest Star’. This was released along with the game on June 26th, 2025. The chapter follows the journey of Mejiro McQueen as she transfers into the Elite Tracen Academy. This is where she will meet her other teammates, including Oguri Cap and Gold Ship.
This chapter will consist of a total of 14 cutscenes, out of which two are concerts. There are also four races that you will need to compete in and win. For these races, you are free to choose any Uma from your list who will fit the race conditions perfectly.
