Electronic Arts finally released a reveal trailer for the upcoming Battlefield 6 a little more than a week ago. The video clip does a great job of showcasing the franchise’s trademark destructive environments, with many helicopter crashes, and gives us glimpses of the main campaign along with its featured characters, weapons, and vehicles. Although the trailer focuses heavily on these elements, there were also some hidden hints and teases that most gamers might have missed.

Here is a list pointing out the five best such moments.

5 Things in the Battlefield 6 Reveal Trailer That Gamers Might Have Missed

Gamers across the globe have largely reacted positively to the Battlefield 6 Reveal Trailer released on August 24, 2025. Fans of the franchise are delighted to see the return of a main campaign, along with new settings, more destructible environments, and massive set pieces. While anyone can simply watch the trailer and arrive at this conclusion, there are many subtle details that the developers have sprinkled throughout the two-minute clip. We have listed the five most notable ones below.

1. The Tone of the Trailer

The first notable thing in the Battlefield 6 reveal trailer is the music, which sets the overall tone of the clip and potentially the main story of the game. EA’s choice to use Bob Dylan’s “Masters of War” and edit a good portion of the trailer to the song suggests that the conflict in the campaign is devastating yet avoidable and unnecessary. However, the choice of music could also be purely for dramatic effect and might not serve a deeper thematic purpose.

2. Bruises on the President’s Hands

The Battlefield 6 trailer begins with a speech from the President of the United States. While the use of the song may or may not be intentional, the bruises around the President’s knuckles and the decision to focus the shot on them are definitely deliberate choices. A teaser released before the reveal trailer revealed that, in the campaign, the Secretary General of NATO was killed, potentially by the villainous mercenary organization known as Pax Armata.

The cuts and marks on the President’s fist suggest that a similar assassination attempt was made against him, which may have sparked the fires of war.

3. Bigger Scale

Right after the President’s scene, there is a brief cut of soldiers running through the streets of New York in a frenzy while a missile strikes the Brooklyn Bridge. What gamers might have missed in this part of the trailer is that, among the various militant groups, police officers were also involved. Since the teaser mentioned Pax Armata sleeper cells in the U.S., the general speculation is that the mercenary organization caught the government off guard with a deadly surprise attack on New York.

Police officers likely had to join the fight due to a lack of military preparedness. The sheer number of armed forces and the destruction of such an iconic bridge highlight the massive scale of Battlefield 6’s campaign.

4. History Between the Two Main Characters

Gamers who paid close attention might have noticed that the trailer focuses heavily on two characters, one being a bearded soldier similar in appearance to COD’s Captain Price, and the other a man holding a knife at the end of the video. While the former is clearly a NATO soldier, the latter could potentially be the main antagonist of Battlefield 6.

What is curious about these two individuals is that the soldier has a burn mark on his left hand, while the man with the knife has similar scars on the right side of his face. This suggests that both characters might share a history and a personal connection in the campaign.

5. Pax Armata Sneak Peek

Around the 40-second mark in the reveal trailer, we see a soldier in darker clothing holding a gun with a powered scope and giving instructions to another group of militants. This individual also has a band made of beads on his left hand. The trailer does not specify which faction this is, but it’s reasonable to assume that this shot gives us an early glimpse of the hostile forces in the game. The use of darker colors in the attire and the President’s mention of Pax Armata at that moment support this theory.

Additionally, the developers subtly hint at Pax Armata’s global nature by including the bead band, which reinforces the group’s identity as a coalition of mercenaries from diverse places and cultures.
