Sprint Races in Umamusume Pretty Derby
Sprint Races are the shortest format of racing in Umamusume Pretty Derby. These are short races that rely less on the horse girl’s stamina or guts and more on their speed and power. These races last for less than a minute, with little to no time to recover from mistakes. Due to how fast these races can end, bad positioning or a slow start could be detrimental to your chances of winning.
Having your Uma in the starting or mid position is a better strategy. Starting from the back proves riskier with how little time you have to fully benefit from longer acceleration skills. Any race that has a distance of less than 1,400m falls under the sprint track format. These races are more high-adrenaline and fast-paced. Because of this, there are only a handful of runners who have the ranking to perform better on these tracks.
