Legend races in Umamusume: Pretty Derby offer challenging races against powered-up characters for a limited time. Curren Chan appears as a rival in the Sprint Legend Race, equipped with balanced stats and powerful skills to push past her top speed in the final straight. She races your veteran umas as a Pace Chaser, kicking into high gear after the final corner. Beating Curren Chan requires a combination of optimized stats, late-race skills, and an aptitude for Sprint races

The easiest way to beat Curren Chan is to choose a Front Runner veteran uma with a high Speed stat. The running style will avoid Curren Chan’s debuffs while your uma reaches a higher top speed to maintain her lead in the final straight.

Speed is the main stat to focus on while training for Sprints. A total of 500 Stamina is required to ensure your uma has enough energy to complete the race at top speed. However, you can train Stamina to 400 and supplement it with two normal or one rare (gold) Stamina-restoring skills.
