The default buttons to spot enemies on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC are LB, L1, and Q, respectively. The older RB/R1 setting from previous Battlefield titles is no longer the default button. You can adjust the keybinding settings to restore the classic layout. If you are used to the old button configuration, remap the button before getting into a game. This will help you avoid lobbing grenades when you are trying to spot.

PC settings have remained the same as in previous Battlefield games. However, there is an alternate input. You can also use the Middle Mouse Button along with Q to spot enemies. Lastly, holding the spot button will give you access to the comms options in-game.
