The two categories your character will need to excel at are Turf and Mile. You will want a unit with an A aptitude in both of these. You can check out the best Turf and Mile characters in the game. Alternatively, some possible options are listed below for your convenience.

You will definitely want to use the best overall and general skills in the game. Stamina recovery skills are good, but not extremely necessary as the race is 1600m long. So, consider Swinging Maestro or Gourmand if your Stamina is your lowest stat. Otherwise, these skills will work well based on the conditions of the race:

  • Nakayama Racecourse
  • Standard Distance
  • Sunny Days
  • Shifting Gears
  • Mile Maven (if Front Runner)
