Bramble is a hostile entity that serves as the final boss in the Outdoors Update of Doors. The popular Roblox horror survival game got its subfloor on August 10, adding a bunch of new content, including entities and boss encounters set in the garden-like Outdoors. If you manage to deal with the Mandrakes, the Monuments, and the Groundskeeper, you will finally have to survive the Bramble before getting to escape the level.
In this guide, we will talk about how the Bramble works and how Doors players can easily evade it and complete the Outdoors in the latest Doors update.

Everything You Need To Know About the Bramble Entity in Doors
Overview
Towards the end of your Outdoors run in Doors, you will encounter the Bramble. It is a hostile entity made of vines under the control of the ominous World Lotus, which acts as the overarching antagonist in the subfloor. At the very end of the run, you have to cross a covered bridge that leads to the Hedge Maze that houses the World Lotus. This is where the game introduces the Bramble in a cutscene where it fights with the Groundskeeper. It has a large body made of thorny vines with the face of a lamp.
After the cutscene, the Bramble patrols around the Hedge Maze and acts as the final boss as you attempt to cut off the vines of the World Lotus.
Bramble Mechanics: How To Survive
The entity has two modes that determine how it will act towards the player:
- Active Mode: This is when the lantern on its head is lit. In this mode, the Bramble will start attacking you with thorns if you are moving.
- Passive Mode: When the lantern on its head is off, the Bramble becomes neutral to the player, and you are free to move around and search for the guillotines that cut the World Lotus’s vines.
So if you want to survive, treat the Bramble as a game of green light and red light. If the entity is near you and its lantern is on, stop moving, and it will not attack. If the lantern is off, it is safe to move.
If you move when the lantern is on, the entity will start damaging you. If it gets too close, the player character instantly dies. It can also teleport around the Hedge Maze using the lamp posts as shown above. So do keep track of the lamp posts and make sure to remain still when its lantern is on.
If it has started attacking you, you can survive by breaking the line of sight. You can do this by hiding in closets or going around the hedges.
