Titan Quest 2 wastes no time in introducing you to your first main antagonist. The Gryphon is a half-bird, half-lion, all-monster type of creature that has Proti village in a chokehold. Some of the villagers are so scared of the creature that their fear has turned to devotion, and they now do her bidding as part of her cult.
The situation is dire, but this is exactly what Aristonoe had been preparing you for. As you set out to hunt the bird creature and put an end to her madness, her cult strikes from the shadows and leads an assault on Proti Village. Innocent lives are at stake, and you’re the only one who can defend Proti Village.
Defend Proti Village is a Fated Quest that runs parallel to the Queen of the Mountain quest in Titan Quest 2. As its name suggests, this quest sees you defending the village and protecting its people. If you’re having any sort of trouble with this quest, our guide is here to help you out.

How To Complete Defend Proti Village Quest in Titan Quest 2

As stated earlier, Defend Proti Village is a quest that accompanies the Queen of the Mountain quest in Titan Quest 2. You automatically unlock this quest when heading towards the Gryphon’s nest. As you approach the village on the way, a villager seeks you out, stating that the cult has attacked and the village needs help.
Once you’re done talking to the villager, cross the bridge right behind him and make your way to the village. Enter the village and head straight down the road to meet the first horde of enemies. Kill this horde and enter the courtyard to your left. There are people stuck inside the house. Kill the enemies surrounding the house to free them.
Once that’s done, cross the street and do the same for the house across the road. You’ll have to fend off about five to six enemies here. Kill these enemies and then circle around southwest to the barn. Kill more enemies here and free the family inside the barn. Then, head back to the village center (near the waypoint), and beat the final wave of enemies to complete the quest.
