For example, it has PCIe Gen 5 support for GPUs, memory overclocking up to 7200 MHz, three M.2 SSD slots, integrated Wi-Fi 6E, and a lot more.
Also, this board is equipped with a 12+1+１VRM solution, which should be enough for the Intel Core i9 14900K, even at its full power. However, this VRM system is not enough for CPU overclocking, so we wouldn’t suggest doing that.

Lastly, we have the MSI PRO B760-P for the budget users. It costs under $140, yet it has no issues powering the Intel Core i9 14900K. Many people would suggest sticking to Z790 boards only for this CPU, but this MSI motherboard has more than enough performance to power the Intel Core i9 14900K, thanks to the 12+1+1 VRM system.
However, due to the nature of the B760 motherboards, you won’t be able to overclock the CPU, but we would suggest that anyway for this VRM system. Also, the VRM system is properly cooled with large heatsinks, so it is capable of delivering sustained performance for much longer.

Final Thoughts
The GIGABYTE Z790 AORUS PRO X and ASUS TUF Gaming Z790-Plus are obviously the top choices, but the more affordable GIGABYTE Z790 AORUS Elite AX and GIGABYTE Z790 Eagle AX are also great options. However, if you have a really tight budget, you can buy the MSI PRO B760-P, and it will run the Intel Core i9 14900K just fine.
