The Division 2 Year 7 Season 2 Update
New Game Mode – Retaliation

This update will introduce a brand-new endgame activity named Retaliation. This mode brings a zone control system between New York, Brooklyn, and DC. You have to complete set missions and captures to agitate a specific faction in order to start a retaliation in that zone. Given the model, you can play this mode again and again, and on top of that, you can earn some good exotics.
New Exotics

You can earn many new exotics via the Retaliation game mode. Each faction has its own unique blueprints, and these can be earned by killing enemy squads during Retaliation or completing a Retaliation event. Use these blueprints to get better items and equipment. Moreover, in the world of exotics, a new weapon appeared: Tempest. This is a fully automatic pistol that actually proves the statement, “Switching to a sidearm is faster than reloading.”
New Gear

Season 2 of year 7 brings some new gear to the game. There will be one brand set, one gear set, and three named items. Depending upon the number of pieces you equip, you will receive a specific buff. Two pieces give +30 mag size, three pieces provide +30% LMG damage, and four pieces unlock a new talent. Each talent, furthermore, provides more value to your build, giving sustainability and increased damage output.
Seasonal Modifiers

Retaliation is truly a faction-based endgame activity, and to buff that, there are multiple seasonal modifiers. These modifiers are called Divide and Conquer, and there will be five active modifiers. Moreover, there will be five universal passive modifiers and five faction-specific modifiers.
