Although several weapons, like Disc Thrower, require you to solve optional puzzles, other weapons become available naturally as you progress.
While you start with the Engine Rifle, you will acquire more powerful advanced weapons over time. After unlocking the Shotgun in Act 1, your next target will be the Tesla Gun (or Tesla Rifle). Fortunately, the electrical weapon is not missable, and you can unlock it as a part of your progression. How to Get Tesla Gun in Abyssus
As mentioned, the Tesla Gun becomes available as you make decent progress. You can unlock the weapon after defeating the mini-boss in Act 2, Stage 2 (Depth 6). Once you defeat the elite enemy in the Gardens, you will find the Tesla Gun (or Tesla Rifle) right next to the exit portal. Pick up the weapon to add it to your arsenal, though you won’t be able to use it immediately. Instead, you will need to equip it at the weapon workbench before heading on your next expedition.
The Tesla Gun is an electrical weapon that unleashes powerful shock damage on enemies. It fires a stream of charged energy beam that rapidly chips away at the enemy’s health. On the other hand, its secondary mod allows you to launch charged projectiles on a surface and deal damage over time.
