Getting the Fish Deity in Abyssus is quite a challenge. Let us discover how you can get your hands on Fish Deity, The Aquatic Weapon.

Getting your hands on the Fish Deity in Abyssus is not an easy feat by any means. This Aquatic Weapon is not lying around in plain sight, and you must embark on a rather tiresome journey to obtain it.
However, the journey is worth the peril. Fish Deity, the Aquatic Weapon, is an ancient aquatic guardian and is strongly tied to the game’s lore. You must emphasize environmental cues, puzzle-solving, and strategic combat over mere brute strength.
In this article, we will discuss how to get the Fish Deity and defeat the three Heralds guarding its sanctum.
How To Unlock Fish Deity in Abyssus
The Temple and the Water-Pressure Puzzle
Your journey begins with locating the Sunken Temple of Thal’Zuur, which is hidden beneath the Coral Graveyard biome. However, you can only access this area after completing the Echoes of the Drowned side quest, which involves collecting three Pearls of Memory from drowned NPC spirits strewn across the map. After that, place the pearls on the altar at the graveyard’s center, which will initiate a whirlpool and pull you into the temple.
Once inside, you must solve a series of water-pressure puzzles to manipulate the flow of ancient ducts. Unfortunately, these puzzles are randomized and are different for each player. We cannot merely depict a single scenario. However, the key to solving these puzzles is to observe the bioluminescent glyphs on the walls, which indicate the correct valve sequence. Successful completion of the puzzles will unlock the Chamber of the Heralds, where the real challenge begins.
First Herald

He is the Herald of Current, the Torrentblade. The arena will have consistent water jets to push you toward spike walls. Equip the Weighted Anklets from the Blackwater Forge to reduce the received knockback. Ranged attacks and timing your dodges between jet bursts are your best friends here. Torrentblade is vulnerable during its spin-up phase. Be sure to interrupt it with a charged harpoon shot and make the most of the situation.
Second Herald

Then comes the Herald of Depth, the Maw Below. Here, the floor collapses in phases. If you are caught in one such collapse, a bottomless pit awaits you. Activating the Echo Locator will highlight safe zones before each collapse session. Do not be stationary and use vertical movement often in this bout. This Herald summons tentacles, and you must target the glowing ones to stun the Maw temporarily. Be sure to have some fire-based weapons, since they deal extra damage due to the Herald being cold-blooded.
Third Herald

Finally comes the Herald of Silence, the Whispering Shell. The arena mechanic here will emit sound-based attacks to disable your HUD and mute ability cues. Equipping the Sonar Helm will partially resist the silence effects. Be quick to notice visual cues and dodge attacks in rhythm. There will be a subtle ripple in the water, which is easy to miss. Hit the Whispering Shell with melee weapons having bleed effects to deal maximum damage.
Getting the Fish Deity

After defeating the three Heralds, the central chamber will flood and reveal the Shrine of the Deep One. Here, your offerings are the Abyssal Scale, obtained from the Second Herald, and the Silent Pearl from the Third. After placing both items on the shrine, the Fish Deity emerges in a cinematic sequence and grants you the Tideborn Blessing, a passive ability that allows you to breathe underwater indefinitely and summon aquatic allies in combat.
