Prospecting Frostbite Pan Guide: How To Get
Overview
As the best pan in the game, players have to do a lot of work to find the Frostbit Pan. To find it, you have to climb the Snowy Mountain on the new Snowy Island and complete certain quests. Before getting into the details, here is an overview of everything you need to do to get the pan:
- Unlock the Snowy Island by completing the Arctic Traveler Quest
- Complete the Builder’s Quest
- Complete the Clear the Path Quest

Unlock Snowy Island
To get to the Snowy Island, you have to complete the quest given by the Arctic Traveler NPC. You can find the NPC at the dock area of Caldera Island. Read our guide on how to get to Caldera Island if you have not unlocked it yet.
After you talk to the Arctic Traveler, you will get a quest that requires you to get the Dragonflame Shovel from inside the Volcano for 400 million in-game currency. Equip the shovel, and he will take you to the new Snowy Island.
Complete the Builder’s Quest
On the Snowy Island, start climbing behind the Blacksmith, and you will reach a large chasm with the Builder NPC standing next to it. Bring him the necessary items to rebuild the bridge so that you can progress to the Frostbite Waterfall area. Here are the items you need to complete this quest:
- 50 Cobalt
- 100 Glacial Quartz
- 200 Titanium
- 250 Blue Ice
If you collect the necessary items, the Builder will rebuild the bridge, and you can keep climbing the mountain.
Clear the Path Quest
Keep on climbing the Snowy Mountain using the ladders. Eventually, you will see that your patch is covered with snow. Mountain Surveyor will be just to the left of that area. Complete his quest by bringing him more materials. First, bring him these materials:

- 200 Glacial Quartz
- 20 Aquamarine
