In Grounded 2, you can obtain Boiling Glands from Bombardier Beetles. Therefore, you first must find them, kill them, and then collect the Glands from their drops. However, not every Beetle will drop a Boiling Gland. Therefore, you may need to harvest several if you do not get one on the first try.
Where To Find Bombardier Beetles To Get Boiling Glands in Grounded 2
Since the Bombardier Beetles are one of the most common insects in the game, finding them would not take too much time. Here are some of the locations where you can encounter the Bombardier Beetles:
- You can find two Bombardier Beetles south of the Picnic Table on a rocky path that cuts diagonally across the Snackbar Front area, leading towards Headless BURG.L.
- After walking northwest of the Trash Can, you will find a Bombardier Beetle. Additionally, look for a large tree covered in mushrooms towards the west of the Can. You will find two more Beetles there.
- There is another Beetle directly north of the Podium.
- One of the easiest locations to find them is to look at the entrance area of the Ice Cream Cart.
Once you find the Bombardier Beetles, defeating them should not take long. The main challenge is their sizzling goo attack, which they launch from either their mouths or abdomens. Keep dodging it while striking from a distance using a bow and arrow. This strategy will help you take down the Beetle more easily and collect the Boiling Glands.
