Unlocking the Crash Helmet in PEAK requires acquiring a certain badge. Here’s how to do it easily to get your new shiny cosmetic upgrade.
PEAK recently introduced the Crash Helmet as a new cosmetic item in the Mesa update. The game now features ten additional badges, bringing the total count to 52. You can unlock the Crash Helmet only after earning a specific badge. Since this update adds a new biome called Mesa, you can only earn this badge exclusively in this biome.
What Is the Required Badge to Unlock the Crash Helmet?
To get the Crash Helmet, players will first need to earn the Daredevil badge. Fortunately, this badge is not that hard to attain. As the name of the badge suggests, you need to do a daring act to earn it. The official description of this cosmetic item reads- ‘Shoot across the MESA canyon in a Scout Cannon.’
Using the Scount Cannon
To get this badge, you will first need to get a Scout Cannon. This item spawns inside the luggage bags. Unfortunately, the spawn location for these bags is random, so you might need to explore a bit. Once you have managed to acquire a Scout Cannon, the next step is to make your way to the Canyon in the Mesa biome. Once here, you have to place the Scout Cannon in such a way that you cross the canyon when you jump into the big gun. The blue trajectory of the cannon will give you a fair idea about where you will land.

After placing the cannon at the right spot, fire it and quickly jump into it to cross the canyon. If you manage to do it successfully, you will see a pop-up on the screen indicating that you have unlocked the Daredevil badge. You will almost immediately get a Crash Helmet added to your inventory as a reward for unlocking the Daredevil badge. Congratulations, now you have a new wearable to flaunt in front of your friends.
