To craft items in the game, you need to unlock the corresponding recipes. Similarly, you need to first obtain the EverChar Torch crafting recipe to collect the item. To do so, you must scan an EverChar Coal Chunk at the Resource Analyzer, which you can find at any of the nearby Ranger Stations.

How To Get the EverChar Torch in Grounded 2
After the scan of the Chunk, you will receive the following recipe:
- 1x EverChar Coal Chunk
- 2x Stinkbug Part
- 2x Bombardier Part
- 2x Silk Rope
The next step is to gather the necessary ingredients. Since the unlocking process of the recipe requires an EverChar Coal Chunk, you should already have one in your inventory. A Silk Rope can be easily crafted using Web Fiber at the Spinning Wheel. To collect Stinkbug Parts, head to the Snackbar Front and defeat the Stinkbugs found there. For Bombardier Parts, travel to the southern area of the fire pit and eliminate the Bombardier Beetles.
Once you have all the items in your inventory, crafting the EverChar Torch will not take much time. Additionally, maintaining the Torch will require an extra EverChar Coal Chunk.
