Doom

The Mark for Death skill is all about dealing vitality damage, and the Doom modification perfectly fits into that equation. The Doom modification applies 2 Doom to the enemy whenever you use the skill. You can level this up to a maximum of 20. The Doom effect lasts for a duration of 3 seconds, after which the enemy takes Vitality Damage in accordance with their Doom stack. This means a total of 20 Vitality Damage, in addition to the base Vitality Damage done by the skill itself.

Weaken

The next modification you need to pick up as soon as possible for the Mark for Death skill is the Weaken modification. Much like its name may suggest, the Weaken modification allows you to weaken your enemies. Any enemy you mark deals 10 percent less damage, making them less dangerous overall.  You can upgrade this modification to further reduce the damage the enemy deals. This modification is perfect against bosses.

Poison Burst

The Poison Burst modification modifies your Mark for Death skill to culminate with Poison Damage. Once you’ve dealt 104 damage with Mark for Death, the skill is consumed, and the enemy takes 15 percent of that as Poison Damage. The Poison Damage then slowly chips away at more of the enemy’s HP. We recommend pairing this modification with the Poison Explosion modification for maximum efficiency.
