In the following guide, we’ll explore how you can get your hands on the Lodestone Crossbow in Abiotic Factor.

In Abiotic Factor, you’ll find a variety of melee and ranged weapons to use. However, when using the latter, a major problem you’ll run into is the lack of ammunition. If you fire those weapons indiscriminately, you will soon have no ammo left. That’s why crossbows are a great ranged weapon to rely on. In most cases, you can recover the bolts you fire at your enemies. This makes your ammunition last longer and proves these weapons economical.
However, a major drawback is their rate of fire and the need to reload after every shot. While this is true for most crossbows in the game, the Lodestone Crossbow is an exception. In this guide, we’ll explore how you can get your hands on the Lodestone Crossbow in Abiotic Factor.
How To Get the Lodestone Crossbow in Abiotic Factor

You will have to craft the Lodestone Crossbow if you want to use it. For that, you’ll first need to gather the necessary resources. Here’s what you’ll need:
- 4x Lodestone Fragment
- 1x Splintered Crossbow
- 2x Magnetic Alloy
- 4x Hexwood
You can get the Splintered Crossbow from the bodies of fallen Guard Canaanites in Canaan. However, you will need a tier 3 Hacker Tool to access the area where the Canaan portal is. You can find some Lodestone Fragments in Canaan near the Witch’s Hut. Simply break down the Lodestone you find there to collect the Lodestone Fragments.
Chop down the Hexed trees in Canaan to gather Hexwood. Once you are through in that area, you can also obtain Hexwood from the Lab Rats you defeat. Lastly, the best place to acquire Magnetic Alloy is the Security Sector. Simply go there and break down the Defense Wood Crates to retrieve this item.
After you collect all the necessary materials, head to a crafting station to make the Lodestone Crossbow.
