Helldivers 2 is finally making its way to Xbox consoles after almost a year and a half of exclusivity to just Sony’s platform and PC. And, to celebrate this momentous occasion, the developers have quite an exciting crossover planned. Soon, you will be able to claim a Warbond in the game that has items that are themed around Halo.
So, if you’ve been a big Halo fan all your life, you simply won’t want to miss out on this one. In the following guide, we’ll explore how you can claim the Halo ODST Warbond in Helldivers 2 and what exactly it includes.
How To Claim the Halo ODST Warbond in Helldivers 2
The Halo-themed ODST Warbond is set to go live on August 26, the same day as the Xbox version of the game. This marks a momentous milestone as Sony and Microsoft seem to have laid down their arms (albeit momentarily) in a long standing rivalry to bring together two of their most popular gaming franchises. However, this collaboration does come at a cost to the players.
You will need to spend 1500 Super Credits to grab the Warbond, which is 500 more than what you’d pay for any typical Warbond in the game. That equates to roughly around $14 if you don’t already have the necessary Super Credits in your Helldivers 2 account. Also, you won’t be able to use the new Premium Warbond Tokens to unlock the Halo-themed Warbond.
So, any of the upgrades that you get from purchasing the Super Citizen Earth Edition won’t really help you to grab this Warbond. The hiked price of the Warbond is likely a way to cover the cost of licensing one of Microsoft’s biggest gaming franchises.
