Paying the bills is a responsibility that every adult human has to go through in our everyday life. Inzoi’s simulation also emulates this aspect of the real world, and you must keep up with all of your necessary expenses and pay for them in time to live a hassle-free life. Players must have an income and also have the money ready by the due date, and if they fail at that, then they will have to face consequences and penalties in the game, such as limitations and downright refusal from many services.

Furthermore, not paying your bills on time also affects your Karma level. We have given a comprehensive guide on how to pay your bills in Inzoi so you can avoid such complications.

Everyone needs money to pay their bills. Thus, in Inzoi, first, you need a source of income to make sure that you always have money flowing into your life. Naturally, for this, you will need a Zoi that has already reached adult life and is eligible for a job. Similar to real life, parents pay for all of their child’s expenses in the game, and adults are on their own.

Once you have made sure that your character got a job, you can then focus on the various bills you receive. You will get a notification on your smartphone on Friday every week that will give you the details regarding which services you have to pay for, including necessities like water, electricity, and property tax. If you have somehow missed the alert or aren’t sure if you received it, you can simply go to your messages and check the Tax Department’s inbox.

There, you will find out more about your bills, such as the due date, the total cost, and a breakdown of all separate expenses. We highly recommend saving a sum of money once you get your income so you can simply pay for the bills whenever they arrive with the “Submit Payment” option in the mentioned chatbox. This will allow the game to take the money out of your account automatically.

What Happens When You Don’t Pay the Bills on Time?

However, if you are broke or do not have the required amount, then you will somehow have to get it within the usual deadline of two days. If you fail, then the Tax Department will send you a notice through messages that your bills are overdue, and they will impose penalties and restrict some of the services that you use. Usually, this means that your water and power will be cut, but you will still get to keep your house.

Still, this will stress your Zoi out just like real life and affect them mentally. But the only way to rectify the situation and resume those services is to pay the bills once you get the money for it.
