Eliminating the End Early in Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater
To kill The End early in Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater, you will need to do it from a distance. You will need the SVD sniper rifle to accomplish this task. You can find this sniper in a side area called Poniszovje West.
Start from the area where you defeated the Pain boss and take the left path. This will lead you to a warehouse with ammo and weapons, including the SVD sniper. Once you have the sniper, continue to the main path and watch the cutscene, and The End will be sitting in his wheelchair by the docks. Pull out your sniper and fire two good shots to the body or head, and you will unlock The Early End trophy. The End will explode, and that is your cue to exit the scene.
Consequences for Killing the End Early
In the original version, The End was meant to be a main story boss. If you eliminate him early, the boss battle will not be scrapped, but some Ocelot units will replace him. These are much easier enemies to defeat and will naturally change the story’s flow.
Alternatively, if you failed to kill him but landed a few shots, the boss fight will become much easier since he is wounded. You will also not receive the Moss Camouflage if you choose to kill him early. You can create a manual save file right before taking the shot to reload the game and continue as normal.
