In this Megabonk guide, we shall go over the basics of Amog and help you devise a build around his limitations.

Amog is a bit of an oddball in Megabonk. Seemingly based on the characters in Among Us, Amog is a short-ranged character, which stands out like a sore thumb when you consider the superior ranges of all others.
While you may be tempted to disregard the character completely over his limitations, Amog also holds the potential to be one of the best in the game if you pick the right tools. If you’re starting out with this character and wish to make a strong build, this guide is for you.
Best Weapons and Tomes for Amog in Megabonk

While Amog’s signature Poison Flask weapon may seem weak, it is the best weapon against bosses in the game. The Poison Flask inflicts poison damage and Lifesteal, slowly eating away at huge boss HP bars and restoring Amog’s health at the same time. It is a little less effective against the regular mobs, so you can also use the Revolver as a viable alternative.
As far as Tomes go, you want to use the Damage Boost Tome to increase the overall damage you deal. We also suggest investing in Projectile Speed and Quantity to hit enemies fast and often. This will let you kill off chunks of the mob fast, before they become a problem.

How To Play Amog in Megabonk
Playing Amog requires you to be well aware and conscious of his short range. You mustn’t allow yourself to be completely swarmed and surrounded, as you may not be able to handle them all. Invest in DPS with the aforementioned Tomes to make the mobs manageable in the late-game.
When Amog really shines is in boss fights. Play hyper-aggressively and keep dishing out damage. With the poison damage and constant heals, you’ll barely lose any damage and can finish off most bosses with ease.
